THE EUROPEAN CW ASSOCIATION

EuCW Straight Key Day

The EuCW SKD is not a contest but an event meant to bring out your old manual straight keys and make a couple of contacts.

EuCW SKD takes place yearly on the Swedish Midsummer Day, i.e. the Saturday falling on or between the dates June 20 and June 26.

Time: 0800 - 2200 UTC.

This is not a contest, but a European CW activity to ragchew with a Straight Key. So take it easy, put the electronic key on the shelf and relax.

Frq: 3540-80, 7020-40, 10105-125 kHz.

Pick the "best fist" accordingly:

11 or more QSOs = You have 4 votes to allocate.
9-11 QSOs = 3 votes
6-8 QSOs = 2 votes
3-5 QSOs = 1 votes
1-2 QSOs = no votes

No more than one (1) vote each. Remember "Gentlemens agreement": Do not send faster than the other station! A diploma, Straight Key Award, or sticker bestows those who receive no less than 3 votes. And, please, add a few lines what You think about SKD in its present form and info about Your Key model, condx etc. Deadline: July 1.
